Elektron Model Cycles Remote for Ableton M4L v1.37 Update

Download and install the 3 Fonts first !!! 

This is the next Release for Elektrons Model:Cycles. 

It's a Remote to use with Max for Live within Ableton. 

v1.37:

When selecting CHORD as Machine you can now select Root,1st,2nd,3rd Inv. via

Dropdown-Menu when clicking on "Color" Label.

Track-Buttons in the Mixer-Page are now Midi/Key-mapable.

Speedlimit was removed due to sometimes not responding to or blocking changes.

Bugfixes:

Chord Parameter weren't correctly shown in Random-Mode. Now fixed.

Shift-Click on Track-Selection wasn't muting as Shortcut. Now fixed.

Delay-Feedback now shows 0-198 as in the Machine.

v1.36:

minor Graphics-change to be consitent with the Model:Samples Version.

Fonts changed to Helvetica...Fonts are in the Folder, although it should be already with

your System.

Some small Optimizations.

v1.34:

A new LFO-Trigger-Mode is activated. You can now select between various

LFO-Retrigger-Modes via a Dropdown-Menu. There is FREE, TRIG (which was RESET before), HOLD, ONE SHOT and HALF.

These are hidden in the Machine and so not selectable from the LFO SETUP in the Model:Cycles.

However if you save the PATTERN in the Machine itself, it will remember these settings. Maybe it will be implemented in an upcoming Update, who knows.

Bugfix: Chords won't change when selecting them by clicking below the Dial to get

to the Chord-Menu. fixed

v1.32:

Midi CC out were broken. fixed.

v1.31:

MIDI-CHANNELS enabled. You can now Change to different MIDI-CHANNELS

according to your settings in your Model:Cycles.

MidiCC threshold hardset to 1ms to avoid hiccups or lockups when using many

Midi-CC-Automations at once. Sometimes Model:Cycles got unresponsive when receiving lots of Data. Fixed.

v1.3 :

some Bugfixes - Lfo Destination wasn't correctly imported.

Importing Parameter always sent CC 17 16 on all Channels ...fixed

Saving Presets now named in a proper way and not as random numbers.

A Sync-enable Button for Delay-Time now restricts the Dial to only use proper Time-Divisions.

Some minor Graphic changes.

A little Hint: when using CHORDS click on the Chord-Name below the Dial to get a Chord-Menu.

v1.2 :

Now Parameter exchange via Sysex is working. Autoimport when changing Patterns will work aswell.

Some changes in the Shortcuts.

Minor Graphic Updates.

You can switch Tracks, Automate and save Presets which are shared across all Tracks.

It has a Randomizer aswell. You can define which Parameter should be randomized.

Settings:

To set Midi-Ports and Channels click on "Model:Cycles"-Logo on the right.

( actual Version has fixed MidiChannels from 1 through 8... I will change that later.)

You should set them as in the Machine. 

Be sure to enable MOut in all Tracks to get Parameters from the Model:Cycles when turning Pots.

In Ableton disable Midi-In "Track" and enable "Remote".

Import Settings:

To import current Parameter from Model:Cycles simply click on the "Elektron-Logo" on the left.

Changing Pattern either from the Remote or the Model:Cycles will auto import the new Parameters of all Channels.

You need to have PrgChange Out enabled and set to Channel 8 instead of "Auto".

Randomizer:

Click on the little "R" on the topleft to access Randomizer.

Use ALT to toggle between Randomizer and normal Mode, this helps to fine-tune Parameter while using Randomizer. 

Click on a Parameter to enable or disable for Randomization. Use "Amount" to limit or extend Randomization.

Presets:

Has now 4 Banks... A to D

Shift-Click on Presetslots will save a Preset. You can load them on another Track. 

"S" to save, "L" to load and "C" to clear the Presetslots.

Machines are not saved in a Preset. This way you can experiment with Presets from different Machines.

Trackselection: 

You can switch Tracks on the lower left "T1...T6...M" 

"M" goes to the Mixerpage with Volume,Pan, Reverb&Delay Sends and Mutes.

Shift-Click on Trackselector will mute the actual Track.

Cmd-Click on a Track-Mute-Button jumps to the focused Track while Cmd-Click on Trackselector jumps back to the Mixerpage.

To Do:

Setting Midi to Ext/Int (currently a dummy) for use with Racks i.E.

Windows version is in work. 

Parts have to be splitted/separated, because Windows doesn't 

support Multiclient Midiports.

Sysex has to be further decoded ...puh

Model:Samples Version is coming aswell, since these are pretty much the same besided

some different MidiCCs.
